Company Helps Young Humanitarian Hit Fundraising Goal

FOI Laboratories, an industry leading fluids analysis, testing and research laboratory, recently had the honor of meeting with Nathaniel Stafford, a very special twelve year old featured in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People issue for 2011 for his humanitarian efforts to bring attention to victims of malaria and as a champion for the children suffering from this terrible disease.

Time Magazine and ExxonMobil have partnered with the United Nations for World Malaria Day, a day to commemorate global efforts to control Malaria. The day represents an opportunity for anyone to make a difference. And what a difference young Nathaniel has made. He has spent much of the last year working hard to raise funds for victims of Malaria, and in particular the children that fall victim to the disease.

“When I learned that a child dies every 30 seconds from a preventable disease, I decided I wanted to make a difference”, said Nathaniel. So, he set out to do just that. Nathaniel calculated that if he could raise $10,000 he could save one thousand families by providing the simplest of deterrents, mosquito nets.

Company Completes Independent Audit of Its Equipment & Processes
